COVID-19

Iceland’s borders are open! You will not need to stay in quarantine, either!

If you want to find out which border policy applies to you, please follow this link. For general updates regarding traveling to Iceland during COVID-19, please visit www.covid.is.

Our COVID-19 Cancellation Policy

You can purchase our Cancellation Protection with every multi-day tour on our website. If you have purchased the Cancellation Protection, you will receive a full refund, minus the cost of the Cancellation Protection itself, in case of cancellation up to 72 hours before arrival.

We will always try to work with you to rearrange your trip, but if you find that you have to cancel your trip entirely, without the Cancellation Protection all tours must be canceled no less than 14 days before the arrival date. In this case, you will receive a full refund minus the Confirmation Fee. Different terms apply to group bookings, please refer to our detailed Terms and Conditions.

All cancellations must be made via email to hello@nordical.com.

Nordical Travel advises that all passengers pay close attention to and follow all government advice, guide advice, safety protocols, and social distancing measures where advertised.

Please note that Nordical Travel is not responsible for additional costs incurred as a result of a positive PCR test and COVID-19 infection occurring whilst in Iceland from arrival point to departure, even for a certified vaccinated individual or those with certified antibodies. These costs not covered include additional hotel reservations, transfers, and domestic and international flights, as well as medical expenses. In the event of a positive PCR infection whilst in Iceland, Nordical Travel can assist in rescheduling accommodation and refunding any bookings where possible, but this is subject to terms and conditions of the service providers used by Nordical, and as such, this means that Nordical Travel may not be able to issue a refund or reschedule without additional costs.
