Accommodation: Reykjavík (e.g. Skuggi Hotel)
Optional Activities: Blue Lagoon, Sky Lagoon, FlyOver Iceland, Northern Lights Tour
After your arrival at Keflavík International Airport and a very warm, winter welcome from your local guide, it is just a short journey to your hotel. There, you can check in and then join an easy-going and interesting walking tour of the city.
Then, you will be left to do your own exploring of the colorful streets, bars, restaurants, and museums. There is so much to see and do for such a small town, and you can always take a Northern Lights tour in the evening.
Accommodation: Reykjavík (e.g. Skuggi Hotel)
Optional Activities: Laugarvatn Fontana, Blue Lagoon, Sky Lagoon
After a buffet breakfast, it is time to head out towards the Golden Circle. This is the most famous route in Iceland and includes three very special locations. The first of which is Þingvellir National Park, the site of the oldest living parliament in the world, as well as being of specific geological importance. Lunch will be in a very special greenhouse...
Geysir is next, in the Haukadalur geothermal region, where you will meet Strokkur, a very active geyser that erupts every 5-8 minutes. It is quite a sight (and quite a smell!). Finally, you will visit Gullfoss. This stunning waterfall is possibly the most famous waterfall in the country. Then, it will be time to return to your hotel and the city is yours to explore for the evening.

Optional Activities: Glacier Hiking
Your third day is where you will head south to a very different area. The volcanic, black sand beaches stretch along this coastline, but the area is adorned with stunning waterfalls such as Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, as well as glaciers and volcanoes such as Sólheimajökull and Eyjafjallajökull. The dramatic beach of Reynisfjara will be your final stop, before heading back to the city.
Accommodation: Reykjavík (e.g. Skuggi Hotel)
Optional Activities: Vatnshellir Caving
The Snæfellsnes peninsula is a very special place and an area that is somewhat less visited than others. The road takes you around the snowcapped volcano of Snæfellsjökull, visiting incredible locations such as Arnarstapi and the “Most photographed mountain in Iceland” – Kirkjufell. If the Northern Lights happen to make an appearance on the journey back to the city, we will surely stop for photographs!
Optional Activities: Blue Lagoon, Sky Lagoon, FlyOver Iceland
It is time to head home, but fear not, you might still have time to take a final walk around the town, grab one last coffee, or buy some last-minute souvenirs. You might even be able to use the time to visit the Blue Lagoon before heading to the airport. Whatever happens, we know you will have had an incredible winter getaway, and you will no doubt planning on coming back in the summer.
