This 5-day group tour is the ideal summer break and includes two of the most popular day routes in Iceland, as well as the stunning Snæfellsnes peninsula.

 

Three full days to witness some of the most incredible sights in Iceland, as well as plenty of time to soak up the summer atmosphere in the city of Reykjavík. This 5-day experience has it all and is ideal for groups of 20 people or more.

After your arrival at Keflavík International Airport and a very warm, winter welcome from your driver, it is just a short journey to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time and mood, you can stop at the Blue Lagoon on your way to town for some relaxing downtime in milky blue geothermal waters.

 

In the evening, the charming city of Reykjavík is yours to explore. Discover what is going on in its downtown streets, visit one of the city’s many bars, restaurants of cafés. The days are long in the summer, and the sun never sets!

Day 2

Today, the adventure begins. After a buffet breakfast, you will board the bus for your first day heading out to the Icelandic countryside. The Golden Circle is the most popular day tour in Iceland, and it isn’t difficult to see why. Your first stop is the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Þingvellir National Park, the best place to see the separation point between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. You will then opt. stop for a fresh and delicious local lunch and a special geothermal greenhouse - Fridheimar Tomato Farm.

 

You will then visit Geysir, the site of one of the most active geysers in the world – Strokkur. This erupts every 5-8 minutes or so. From here, it is just a short journey to the incredible waterfall of Gullfoss, arguable the most famous waterfalls in Iceland. Then, it is time to return to the city for more exploring.

Day 3

Day 3 will take you along the South Coast of Iceland, another of the country’s most famous routes. Here, you will visit the waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, the latter you might recognize as its impressive presence has been featured as a backdrop in movies and TV shows.  

 

With the glacier of Sólheimajökull and the volcano of Eyjafjallajökull to your left, you will see miles and miles of black, volcanic sand to your right. Your last visit for the day will be the stunning and dramatic beach of Reynisfjara, where you will feel the power of the Atlantic Ocean as it smashes the coastline. We then head back to Reykjavík, where you can explore the city once again.

The wonderful West awaits today. The Snæfellsnes peninsula is a spectacular area, sometimes referred to as “Iceland in miniature” as it contains most of the things that make Iceland so special. From the rock formation of Arnarstapi, the black beach of Djúpalónssandur, and the volcano of Snæfellsjökull to the very famous mountain of Kirkjufell. This less-traveled route is full of treasures!

Day 5

It is time to head to the airport for your flight home. Perhaps a last-minute opportunity to see more of the city, some last-minute shopping. You will use the time to visit to the famous Blue Lagoon, an amazing way to cap everything off! Whatever you do, we are sure you will have had the time of your life.
