Welcome to the Arctic! Upon arriving at the airport, your vehicle will be waiting for you, no matter when you land, and the Capital City is just a short drive through the lava fields.
Depending on the time of arrival, it is possible to stop on the way to take a relaxing dip in the milky, turquoise waters of the Blue Lagoon. This first evening is also the ideal opportunity to discover the cultural richness of Reykjavík or to take advantage of its many bars and restaurants to discover the local gastronomy.

Your adventure begins. After breakfast, it is time to leave the capital to visit the famous Golden Circle, which is home to three of the most popular sites in the country. During this day, you will be able to walk in the rift that separates two continents in Þingvellir National Park. You will also discover the exquisite Gullfoss waterfall as well as Strokkur, the only geyser in Europe.
There is even more to do. Typical activities around these three major sites also include visits to hidden waterfalls, volcanic craters, and an award-winning restaurant in a tomato greenhouse. You can even snorkel between the European and American tectonic plates!

Today, you will continue along the South Coast of the island to discover more incredible landscapes. Between sea and mountains, this region of Iceland has been the backdrop of several Hollywood productions, so many of these sites will remind you of a movie or series. As you discover the waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, there are one or two other secret places in this area that we can let you in on.
On the way to Reynisfjara, the famous black sand beach, you can make a stop at the foot of Mýrdalsjökull to discover one of its glacial tongues, Sólheimajökull, where icebergs can be found lazily floating in the lagoon.

Today is the return trip to Reykjavík, but it will be anything but boring: You have the unique chance to go on a hike to the recently erupted volcano Fagradalsfjall in the Geldingardalur valley, on the Reykjanes peninsula!
The volcanic peninsula also offers fascinating lava landscapes, bubbling geothermal areas, and – of course – the famous Blue Lagoon. If you prefer to romp around in the exciting capital, you can of course come back early and enjoy the lively city center.

With a head full of wonderful memories to treasure, you will head back to Keflavík International Airport to catch your flight home. Depending on the departure time, this is a final opportunity to be able to visit the Blue Lagoon, or simply take a final, casual stroll through the city center to soak up the atmosphere one last time.
